Reiki
Workshops
Reiki is taught in three levels: Reiki I, Reiki II
and Reiki III. Reiki I focuses on self healing and spiritual growth.
Reiki II prepares you to offer Reiki to others.
Reiki III prepares you to teach Reiki.
Reiki can be learned and used by anyone, regardless of experience or
spiritual belief. Once learned, Reiki can be used to facilitate healing for
yourself and for others. Reiki complements all other healing modalities, both conventional and
alternative.
Reiki Chattanooga offers Reiki workshops in the traditional Japanese branch of Reiki called
Usui Reiki Ryoho.
Reiki I, II and III are now based on this
philosophy and are called by the Japanese names Shoden, Okuden and
Shinpiden.
Shoden is a Japanese word meaning 'first teachings'. These are the
first teachings of the system of Reiki. In our practical Shoden courses you
will learn how to help yourself with a daily healing practice and how you
can also help your friends and family including your animals using Japanese
healing techniques.
Okuden is a Japanese word meaning 'inner teachings'. As the word
implies, a deeper understanding and connection to Usui Mikao’s teachings is
achieved during this course. Utilizing Japanese principles, this level
teaches how to connect to Earth and Heaven energy; the first steps to
becoming fully integrated with the universe. This is achieved through the
practice of shirushi (symbols) and jumon (mantras). This level will also
support you in becoming a professional Reiki practitioner if that is your
interest.
Shinpiden is the Japanese word for ‘mystery teachings’. It is aimed
at Level II practitioners or established Reiki Teachers who wish to continue
their personal journey, a journey that is ongoing long after you complete
the Shinpiden course. It is therefore not just about teaching and is even
suitable for those who wish to simply develop their personal Reiki practice
and occasionally teach
Animal Reiki is
also available. Please note that the Animal Reiki Workshop is not the same
as Reiki I and does not satisfy the pre-requisite for Reiki II.
All workshops and
teleconferences are presented by Margaret
Dexter, Reiki Teacher, Animal Reiki Teacher and Animal communicator. Unless
otherwise noted, workshops are held at her home in North Chattanooga –
details when you register. Teleconferences are
phone calls – dial in information when you register.

is the most important thing you can do to expand your Reiki abilities.
You will learn and practice additional mediations in this

What Are Some Of The
Benefits Of Studying With Reiki Chattanooga?
- Feel a connection of truth within your
personal practice.
- Strengthen your energy to support your
spiritual, healing and/or teaching practice.
- Become 100% confident in your practice.
- Receive a 173 page manual (includes
Level I and II manuals).
- Certification permitting you to teach
and initiate into the Reiki branch called Usui Reiki Ryoho.
- Belong to a local
healing community, Reiki Chattanooga, and receive Margaret Dexter's
ongoing support..
Self-empowerment is attained in Shinpiden through a strong energetic
connection to the source of Reiki. It is also the result of the confidence
you will feel as a result of your thorough knowledge of Reiki – how it
works, what all the variations on Reiki actually are, where Reiki stands in
the world today, the Japanese shirusi (symbols) and jumon (mantras) and
their connection to Japanese philosophies and what the origin of Reiki's
spiritual nature is. This traditional Japanese branch of Reiki is called
Usui Reiki Ryoho.
One of the major focuses of this course is to tap into the sense that you
are, and always were, a great, bright light – this is achieved by working
with the fourth shirushi and jumon. These particular teachings are not widely taught in the Reiki
community and therefore are a must for any serious Reiki practitioner or
teacher.
Tuition: $950 with a non-refundable $475 deposit.
Tuition includes class, manual and Reiki Master Teacher
certificate. If you have already taken Shinpiden with
Margaret Dexter and would like to resit, contact
