Reiki
I and II Workshops
Reiki is taught in three levels: Reiki I, Reiki II
and Reiki III. Reiki I focuses on self healing and spiritual growth.
Reiki II prepares you to offer Reiki to others.
Reiki III prepares you to teach Reiki.
Reiki can be learned and used by anyone, regardless of experience or
spiritual belief. Once learned, Reiki can be used to facilitate healing for
yourself and for others. Reiki complements all other healing modalities, both conventional and
alternative.
Reiki I and II were formerly combined into a Reiki
I/II Intensive Weekend Workshop. Margaret now teaches Reiki I and Reiki
II as separate workshops. She is currently transitioning from teaching
Western style Reiki to
teaching Reiki more in the Japanese style. During this time of transition,
students in Reiki II will receive either
Reiki The Healing Touch First & Second Degree Manual by William Lee
Rand or
The Japanese Art of
Reiki by Bronwen and Frans Stiene, whichever book
they did not receive in Reiki I. Additional books are available for purchase
if students do not have both of these books. In future classes, Rand's text
will no longer be used as it is western rather than Japanese style Reiki.
During this transition period, Reiki Chattanooga is
offering Reiki I and Reiki II. Advanced workshops will be offered again by
fall.
